Good news -following successful fundraising and grant awards, permission has been given for the go ahead for the Restoration works to start in July in the church. From Sunday July 8th until an estimated date of October, church services will take place at the same time of 11am in the Church Hall in the Main street.

PRESBYTERY OF AYR RURAL CONFERENCE 2018

The Presbytery of Ayr is holding its fourth Rural Conference on Saturday 5th May in Ayr Market.  Everybody who is interested in attending will be made very welcome at the event.  While attendance is free it is hoped that as many attendees as possible will make a contribution towards the refreshments. This  year’s PROGRAMME OF EVENTS is as follows.

10.00 a.m. – 10.30 a.m. Teas, coffees and biscuits.

10.30 a.m. – 10.45 a.m.  Worship in the ‘Ring’ conducted by Rev. Gerald Jones.

10.45 a.m.  – 12.15 p.m.    Canon Keith Ineson B.E.M. and Rev. Chris Blackshaw on ‘Mental Health Issues in Rural Ministry.’

12.15 p.m. – 1.15 p.m. Lunch and a chance to socialise.

1.15 p.m. – 2.45 p.m.  Discussion on the morning’s presentations.

2.45 p.m.  – 3.15 p.m.  Talk/Discussion on ‘The Rural Church – The Missing Pieces.’ By Rev. Ian McLachlan

3.15 p.m. – 3.25 p.m.  Appreciations delivered by Mrs. Isabell Montgomerie.

3.30 p.m.    Departure.

Our Spring Coffee Morning was held on Saturday 14 April in the Church Hall. Thanks to everyone who supported, helped & donated - we made £600!

The Board and Session are delighted that Mrs Hilary Denholm has agreed to be the webmaster for the website. This will mean that viewers to the website can see updates on a regular basis. We are very grateful to Hilary for agreeing to do this for us.
